By installing or using Hán Thông you agree to these terms. Vietnamese version: Điều khoản sử dụng.
1. License to use
You may install and use Hán Thông on your own devices for personal, study and teaching purposes. The app and its source code are copyright Nguyễn Đức Thành. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app without written permission, except where the law allows it.
2. Third-party data and components
The app includes dictionary data (CVDICT and CC-CEDICT under CC BY-SA 4.0; the Sino-Vietnamese word list and jieba under MIT; Unihan under the Unicode License v3), fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and open source libraries. These are covered by their own licenses, listed in the app's About screen.
3. Your content
Text you add to the app is yours and is processed on your device only. You are responsible for having the right to use it.
4. Passwords and backups
Password profiles are encrypted. If you lose both the password and the recovery key, nobody, including the developer, can recover the data. Keep the recovery key somewhere safe and back up your library regularly.
5. No warranty
Hán Thông is provided "as is". Pinyin, Sino-Vietnamese readings, word segmentation and dictionary definitions are generated automatically or come from open sources and may contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from the use of the app, including data loss.
6. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change accordingly. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
